Coldwell Banker Neumann is a full-service real estate brokerage with offices in Guelph and Elora, Ontario.

Coldwell Banker Neumann is associated with the international Coldwell Banker brand. As the first Marketing Coordinator to join the team, I introduced and executed a new content marketing strategy, provided individualized marketing support for agents, and helped the company execute a marketing plan that would position the company as an industry-leader.

Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

I contributed to the brokerage's success by improving internal marketing materials, enhancing the company’s social media presence, and expanding the services offered to agents. I provided individualized marketing solutions for realtors and teams and created a library of graphic design templates, including buyer’s and seller’s guides, business cards, and feature sheets. Additionally, I designed an internal website for agents to easily access these templates and other essential resources.

    • Independently managed the social media channels:(revamped content, optimized profiles and captions for SEO, connected with local businesses, targeted content for buyers/sellers/builders/realtors)

    • Provided individualized marketing services to 70+ realtors and simultaneously executed a marketing plan aimed at giving CBN a competitive edge

    • Brought campaign ideas forward to the Operations Manager

    • Redesigned company marketing materials, real estate reports, print/digital ads

    • Created editable design templates for realtors in Canva (business cards, mailers, home buyers guides, social media graphics)

    • Designed brochures, business cards, newspaper ads, social media graphics, logos, posters

    • Led the design of an internal website that served as a resource for current agents to access tools, training videos, webinars, updates, and an extensive library of easy-to-use Canva design templates

    • Assisted in presenting ideas and mockup designs for the company’s website redesign

    • Liaised with web developers, presented ideas to stakeholders

Social Media

Positioning CBN as a local leader in real estate by leveraging social media to transform perceptions.

By sharing highly branded content and working to position CBN as a leader in local real estate, I achieved significant growth in the company’s online reach, brand recognition and credibility. As the company’s first dedicated marketing coordinator, I built a content plan from the ground up and identified opportunities to distinguish the CBN brand from other local brokerages. I successfully grew a network of over 1500 local followers within one year and positively improved brand perception.

New Strategy, New Design, New Milestones Unlocked.

  • I created custom-design social media graphic templates to support a variety of ongoing posts, including the weekly ‘Feedback Friday’ client testimonial, the monthly market overview graphic, the ‘welcome’ graphic for new agents…etc. I successfully grew a network of over 1500 local followers within one year.   • I diversified CBN’s content and humanized the brand by sharing photos of staff, highlighting new agents, and the success of our current agents and engaging with other profiles to foster connections within the community.

  • Managed social channels in a time of uncertainty: During the height of the pandemic, I increased the frequency of posts, ensured trustworthy and clear communications, provided timely policy updates and educated our audiences on CBN’s virtual services.

Branding & Design

Implementing new branded materials for a cohesive presence across all platforms.

I supported the company through a corporate-wide rebrand and implemented the new brand guidelines into our daily visual communications across all platforms. I independently designed social media graphics and print materials for the brokerage and agents. As the company’s first in-house graphic designer, I introduced design systems, adhered to corporate brand guides and created a library of design templates. I worked with real estate agents and teams to develop or strengthen their branding and help guide them in their marketing and social media strategies.

Results

The systems, designs, and strategies I implemented remain instrumental to the company’s marketing outcomes and are still well-utilized. From creating an internal website and developing a library of internal resources to crafting evergreen campaigns to being the first to provide in-house marketing — my contributions facilitated many growth opportunities for the company.

Freelance Marketing Consultant

In late 2020, the company hired me as an independent marketing consultant to support the company in organizing an onboarding and training system for new realtors to the brokerage. Working alongside CBN’s operations manager, I populated the training program with comprehensive materials, interactive activities, quizzes, imagery and graphics, and displayed written materials in clear formats.
